The more notice you give the better, but one to two days is usually enough, and same-day delivery is often available depending on the plant and the time you need. The APP will show you if a time slot is available, for same day and short notice deliveries " On Request " will appear, we need to chase up suppliers before coming back to you if that time is available on the day. You can see what's genuinely open before you commit instead of ringing around. If you're pouring first thing, book a few days out. Early morning times are what everyone wants, the more notice the better. 

The minimum order amount is 0.4m3. Small loads are welcome. We specialise in looking after the little guys — the jobs bigger suppliers often don't want, like a shed slab, a path or a small driveway. No minimum-order runaround. Enter your cubic metres in the APP and you'll see the price for that volume before you confirm anything. Small loads attract short load fees which can add up to being more than the cost of the concrete.

For most domestic work 20 MPa is the minimum you should use, floor slabs, paths and shed bases. Step up to 25 MPa for driveways, heavily trafficked paths and patios. 32 MPa is standard where more strength is needed, such as suspended slabs and large carparks, and 40 to 50 MPa is generally used in high-rise construction. Saturday from 6am to 12pm. We don't supply on Sundays typically due to the costs to open the plant. Standard weekday supply runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm. Deliveries outside those windows are governed by the supplier and incur additional charges. If you need one, call us and we'll tell you what's possible before you book.

Depending on suppliers it varies between 30 & 45minutes on site. Past that, waiting time applies from $3.50 per minute, varying by supplier. If you're barrowing rather than chuting off the back of the truck, factor that in. A concrete pump is faster and often works out cheaper once you account for waiting time on a bigger pour.

Yes. Anything under 0.4m³ returned costs you nothing. Above that, returned concrete is charged at $250 per m³ plus GST on the total amount returned, depending on the supplier. Use our free concrete calculator before you order so you're not paying to send concrete back.
